Objectives : To explore the ecclesiological vision of the Second Vatican Council’s Dogmatic Constitution on the Church, Lumen gentium .
Learning outcomes : Students will be able to analyze and interpret the key themes of Lumen gentium and develop theological reflections grounded in magisterial teaching.
Contents : An in-depth study of the eight chapters of Lumen gentium , exploring their significance for understanding the Church’s nature and mission.
Methodology : Critical reading of the conciliar text, guided by theological commentaries, student presentations, and class discussions.
Means of evaluation : Active participation in class discussions, weekly papers, a presentation, and a final paper.
