Nella ricerca sui profeti, il fascino esercitato sugli interpreti dalla persona del profeta ha ceduto il passo alla comprensione della profezia biblica come letteratura di tradizione scribale. Nella loro diversità, i libri profetici sono testimonianza di una letteratura composita: agli oracoli si alternano discorsi o narrazioni; all’annuncio del giudizio segue senza soluzione di continuità la promessa di salvezza; generi letterari diversi sono combinati l’un l’altro, spesso senza alcuna cornice che possa offrire indicazioni sui locutori o destinatari. La letteratura profetica testimonia processi di trasmissione, raccolta, aggiornamento e composizione di materiali disomogenei in un prodotto letterario che trova nel “libro profetico” una sua forma unitaria.
Attraverso una selezione di passi scelti dai libri profetici (Is–Mal), il seminario intende approfondire e praticare alcune metodologie rilevanti per lo studio di questa letteratura. Particolare attenzione sarà dedicata a: a) il libro profetico come genere letterario; b) strategie letterarie del discorso profetico; c) analisi di forme letterarie tipiche della profezia; d) uso di lessico/immagini/metafore; e) narrazione e profezia; f) analisi di alcuni processi compositivi visibili nei testi profetici, mettendo a fuoco riprese intertestuali, differenze testuali e redazione dei testi.
Obiettivi
Gli obiettivi principali del seminario sono i seguenti: a) acquisire familiarità con la letteratura profetica; b) identificare e analizzare le modalità espressive principali di questa letteratura; c) acquisire dimestichezza nell’analisi esegetica e nell’impiego sui testi di differenti metodologie di analisi tra loro integrate; d) acquisire consapevolezza delle potenzialità, difficoltà e attenzioni necessarie nell’applicazione di diverse metodologie di analisi; e) acquisire dimestichezza nella costruzione e nella presentazione di una argomentazione esegetica
Modalità di svolgimento
Per ciascuna seduta di seminario sarà assegnato un esercizio sulla materia trattata insieme, che dovrà essere svolto con un breve elaborato scritto (2-3 pagine). L’esercizio svolto sarà presentato nella sessione successiva da uno studente e discusso insieme. Gli studenti che frequentano il seminario con lavoro scritto sono tenuti alla presentazione di un elaborato più lungo (max. 20 pagine), nello stile di un articolo scientifico, su un testo concordato insieme. I contributi scritti possono essere presentati in italiano, inglese, tedesco, francese e spagnolo. La conoscenza dell’inglese è indispensabile per la lettura della bibliografia.
Valutazione
Per la valutazione finale si terrà conto del risultato complessivo degli elaborati scritti, della presentazione e della partecipazione attiva durante le sedute.
