Now in its 15th year, Scuola Sinderesi concludes its fifth three-year cycle, dedicated to understanding those conflict situations that currently represent real challenges to the model of coexistence, free and democratic, that qualifies the European Union. In a globalized world, where every reality is interconnected with the rest of the planet, the in-depth analysis of some theaters of crisis, will allow an understanding of the plurality of factors and actors at play, as well as what is necessary for paths of fraternity and not mutual elimination to be set in motion.

The multidisciplinary, individual and group approach, conducted according to the now well-known “social discernment model” offered by Sinderesi School, will enable participants to understand the present geopolitical, sociological, institutional and religious dynamics.

This year's cultural workshop is focused on the analysis of the Ukrainian situation.

Can this nation be considered an outpost or a bridge? We will analyze its strategic importance for a peaceful future

The entire course is a genuine cultural laboratory structured in:

• Workshop: meetings and telematic exchanges, coordinated by a tutor and supervised by lecturers who are experts in the subject.
• Individual Paths: within the groups for full and 'starring' participation in joint research and discussion.
• Plenary meetings: 24 workshop hours intended for all participants and divided into 8 meetings of 3 hours, in brain storming mode, on the topics listed in the annual programme.

Enrolment requirements

Admission requires a high school diploma valid for university admission.

Bearing in mind that the Sinderesi course is mainly aimed at young people up to the age of 35, a contribution of €115.00 is required.  For more information please visit the Academic Fees page

At the end of the pathway agreed with the School Coordinator, the Centre's students, having met the requirements, may obtain a Diploma (30 ECTS over a five-year period) or a Certificate (for less than 30 ECTS or for 6 ECTS for each individual course).
