Storia dell'arte nelle religioni

Art and religion have been connected since ancient times. Artistic forms, like words, have spread the contents of various religious messages for centuries, reflecting their specific spiritual vision.
With the aid of images and videos, this seminar offers a general overview of the art of the world's most widespread religions: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism. But that's not all: it also provides the tools for understanding artistic language as a powerful means which, in its spiritual and symbolic value, has accompanied humanity's journey towards the divine over the centuries.
