- La pratica di Simran nel sikhismo: memoria, meditazione e realizzazione spirituale
The course offers an introduction to Sikhism and its historical context, starting from the figure of Guru Nanak and the founding of the tradition in 16th-century Punjab. It will analyze the concept of Ik Onkar, the foundation of Sikh monotheism, and the role of the ten Gurus in consolidating the doctrine. It will also explore simran in its etymological, spiritual, and musical dimensions, with a particular focus on the relationship between sound, devotion, and memory.
