Objectives: The course will teach students the strategies of intrafamilial perpetrators: red flags, cognitive distortions, systemic/familial aspects.

Learning Outcomes: At the end of the course, students will be able to recognize the main dynamics of abuse in order to better understand certain psychological tendencies and signals.

Content: Main elements of the dynamics of abuse; cognitive distortions; understanding intrafamilial perpetrators’ ways of abusing.

Methodology: The course will combine lectures, readings, and seminar discussion.

Means of evaluation: Evaluation will be based on class participation and written papers.
