Objectives: Students will receive knowledge about the concept of prevention and make them reflect on how establishing prevention environments is crucial and inspired from cultural elements.

Learning Outcomes: At the end of the course, the students will be able to create a prevention plan that is adapted to their cultures and environments. They will develop a culturally sensitive prevention plan for their sending institutions.

Content : Various approaches to prevention and the elements which make them effective; to create/draft a prevention plan.

Methodology: The course will combine lectures, readings, and seminar discussion.

Means of evaluation: Evaluation will be based on class participation and written papers.
