Objectives: This course will teach students about types of abuse and how they are related to power issues; abusive dynamics in relationships will be introduced.

Learning Outcomes: At the end of the course, students will be able to recognize the various forms of maltreatment, as well as be able to identify the risk and protective factors of abuse.

Content : Various forms of maltreatment and their consequences; spiritual abuse, financial abuse, mobbing and bullying, and intrafamilial abuse; specific dangers of cyber abuse.

Methodology: The course will combine lectures, readings, and seminar discussion.

Means of evaluation: Evaluation will be based on class participation and written papers.
