Licentiate in Leadership and Management

The Licentiate in Leadership and Management lasts six terms. In order to be awarded the degree, each student needs to commit to 120 ECTS credits. The requirements of the programme will be fulfilled in 2 years and spread out in 6 terms.

Each course is awarded 24 hours of lectures, delivered in 2 hours sessions. Fundamental courses - that all management degrees should have - will be offered in the first year. In course of the second year, students are expected to deepen knowledge received in the first year. There will be 4 courses per term except the 6th term during which there will be two courses and the integration seminar (8 credits). The thesis will be worth 8 credits while the final exam is worth 4 credits.

Admission requirements

1. For admission, a student is required to have completed study to bachelor degree level or a first level university degree.

2. Proficiency in English, if possible evidenced with supporting documents.

3. Non-exclusive preference for those with work experience.

4. Submission of a 2-to-3 pages essay on personal motivations for joining the programme.

5. Recommendation by two academic authorities who can independently provide a clear and evidence-based, objective appraisal of the candidate’s capacity for intensive graduate study and potential for future professional success.

6. A letter of introduction of the candidate by the Bishop, major superior or another ecclesiastical authority.

Applications for the following academic year will be accepted from early November to Mid-March. Applications will be processed in the second half of March and decisions about admission will be communicated to the applicants by Mid-April.

The Licentiate in Leadership and Management does not give access to the doctorate in Social Sciences.
