#TheSpiritofGeneva: The Impact of AI on International Humanitarian Law 75 Years of the Geneva Conventions

The increasing digitalisation and the use of AI in armed conflicts raise several questions for international humanitarian law. On 7 November, the conference #TheSpiritofGeneva: The Impact of AI on International Humanitarian Law organised by the Embassies of Switzerland to the Holy See and in Italy, in collaboration with the Pontifical Gregorian University, intends to address some of them, reflecting in an interdisciplinary way on the challenges, risks and opportunities that may follow. Starting from 9:30 a.m., numerous high-level experts will discuss the topic in a series of panels and keynote speeches to demonstrate how, 75 years after their adoption, the Geneva Conventions maintain their relevance.
