SESSANT'ANNI DI NOSTRA AETATE

The meeting will explore the theme chosen by the Italian Rabbinical Assembly and the Italian Episcopal Conference for the 37th Day for the Deepening and Development of Dialogue between Catholics and Jews, namely the phrase taken from Genesis 12:3, “In you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

The afternoon will open with an introduction by Massimo Gargiulo, Director of the Cardinal Bea Centre for Jewish Studies. This will be followed by contributions from Rav Riccardo Di Segni, Chief Rabbi of the Jewish Community of Rome, and Monsignor Ambrogio Spreafico, President of the Commission for Ecumenism and Dialogue of the Italian Episcopal Conference.

The presentations will be moderated by Monsignor Marco Gnavi, Head of the Office for Ecumenism, Interreligious Dialogue and New Religious Movements of the Diocese of Rome. The meeting will be enlivened by the musical group “Progetto Davka,” directed by Maurizio Di Veroli
