Santa Rosa de Lima, la primera santa del Nuevo Mundo : reflexiones contemporáneas

The conference ‘Saint Rose of Lima, the first saint of the New World: contemporary reflections’ is organised by the Embassy of Peru to the Holy See in the context of the upcoming ceremony of enthronement of a statue of Saint Rose of Lima and a Marian mosaic, donated by the Peruvian Episcopal Conference, in the Vatican Gardens.

The aim is to raise awareness of Saint Rose of Lima, the first saint of the New World, through her life and works, in light of the most recent studies and reflections on her figure, both in relation to the historical context and, at the same time, highlighting her value in the contemporary world.
