Wanted by his confreres, students, colleagues and friends for his 80th genetliac, the Miscellany Missionari insegnamenti  in Honor of Fr. Fidel González Fernández, MCCJ, collects contributions from thirty-four Authors from different university, ecclesiastical, religious and cultural institutions scattered around the world. The first Section reports those multifaceted Missionari insegnamenti that emerge in different realities of the five continents from the origins of the Church to the present day, while the second and third are dedicated to Fr. Fidel, respectively in the dual capacity of Recollections and Testimonies and Historian of the Missions. Edited by Prof. Fr. Filippo Lovison, Barnabite, it also highlights, in special sections, the academic activity carried out for many years by Fr. Fidel at the Faculty of Ecclesiastical History, later Faculty of Church History and Cultural Heritage also of the Pontifical Gregorian University, in which he directed no less than 65 Doctoral Dissertations.
