Peace and Ecology in Feminist Reflection and Practice

Pacifism and environmentalism are deeply woven into the history and development of feminisms. During this meeting, we will retrace some of the fundamental stages of this journey, specifically the birth of ecofeminism and the consolidation of an international feminist peace movement during the 1970s and 1980s. Furthermore, we will focus on the contributions of some of the most prominent eco-pacifist theorists and activists.
