L'ALTRO SGUARDO SUL MONDO COOPERAZIONE MISSIONARIA: UNA VISIONE DI LIBERTÀ E GIUSTIZIA SOCIALE

In an era marked by growing inequalities and global fragility, the theme of missionary cooperation is an essential key to building a more equitable and supportive world.

In order to explore these issues in depth, the MAGIS Foundation has organised, in collaboration with the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Pontifical Gregorian University, a meeting to be held on Wednesday 9 April at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Piazza della Pilotta, 4 (Rome), Theses Hall C012, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

This will be an opportunity for discussion enriched with authoritative voices offering different but complementary perspectives. From the theological reflection on mission and social justice, led by experts from the Society of Jesus, to the economic dimension of cooperation, the debate will try to outline new paths for a future oriented towards the poor in a perspective of common good. The event will see significant interventions exploring the link between economy and fraternity, the challenges of international cooperation in contemporary society, the relationship between theology and mission in a vision of freedom and social justice to build a more human world.

There will be no shortage of analysis of the relationship between development economics and social justice issues, according to a local and global dimension. At a time when international challenges call for common responses, this meeting is an opportunity to reflect on how missionary cooperation, theology and economics can work together towards a shared vision of freedom and social justice in order to contribute to peace-building. The evening will conclude with a debate open to the public, offering a space for dialogue and sharing.
