LA LIBERTÀ RELIGIOSA OGGI

The right to religious freedom continues to be an extremely topical issue. In several nations this right continues to be denied and religions-not just Christianity-continue to be penalized or persecuted. The Second Vatican Council's declaration Dignitatis humanae teaches that it is a right inherent in the very dignity of man, which cannot be violated without mutilating, precisely, his dignity. The conference, organized by the Center for Interreligious Studies in collaboration with the Order of Trinitarians, will introduce the topic and also address it in relation to particular contexts.
