GIORNATA DI STUDI DEL DIPARTIMENTO DI TEOLOGIA FONDAMENTALE

This study day will seek to explore the questions that emerged from the recent Synod on Synodality and that are characteristic of Fundamental Theology. As the title of the day indicates, questions of fundamental ecclesiology are an example of such questions. But as the subtitle already suggests, there are others. We invite as speakers two theologians who played a leading expert role during the recent Synod on Synodality. Afterwards, a member of our Department, Prof. Stella Morra, will give her contribution. She will describe how she was invited by Pope Francis to be part of one of the ten study groups convened after the Synod Assembly in 2023. The objective of the Study Day will be refined with the contribution of the participants who will take up the invitation to seek criteria and methods for the composition of listening and proclamation, both from a theological and pastoral point of view, as well as culture in ecclesial discernment
