- Ercole Consalvi, Memorie a cura di Roberto Regoli
In January 1824 Cardinal Ercole Consalvi, secretary of state of Pope Pius VII, who went down in history as the most important secretary of state of all time, died. On the occasion of the bicentennial of his death, a conference was celebrated at the Vatican and a new edition of his Memoirs was published, which are now to be presented at the Pontifical Gregorian University. For the first time there is a complete publication in the Italian language, with an introduction by Roberto Regoli who wanted to present the relevance of the character and his politics.
