Issue 40 of Ignaziana (www.ignaziana.org), a research journal in the tradition of the Society of Jesus, is now online. The new issue is dedicated to the theme of collaboration in mission, which has united lay people and Jesuits since the beginning of the Society of Jesus.
"Today, this collaboration has intensified," writes Father Pino Di Luccio, S.I., editor of the journal. "This is partly due to the declining number of Jesuits in many Western countries and the belief that this decline should not jeopardize the future of long-standing and highly important social and educational works. Furthermore, the widespread practice of the synodal style in ecclesiastical structures and in evangelization efforts is increasing, renewing, and innovating collaboration in mission between Jesuits and non-Jesuits."
