On September 12, 2026, the Holy Father appointed as referendaries of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura Rev. Fr. Damián Guillermo Astigueta, S.J., Dean of the Faculty of Canon Law of the Collegium Maximum of the Pontifical Gregorian University; and Rev. Msgr. Matteo Visioli, Lecturer at the Faculty of Canon Law of the Collegium Maximum of the Pontifical Gregorian University.
