On July 25, 2026, the Holy Father appointed as members of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura Msgr. Gianpaolo Montini, Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Canon Law of the Collegium Maximum of the Pontifical Gregorian University and Editor-in-Chief of the research journal Periodica de Re Canonica; and Rev. Fr. Ulrich Rhode, S.J., Full Professor at the Faculty of Canon Law of the Collegium Maximum of the Pontifical Gregorian University.
