On Monday 24 February 2025, the Holy Father appointed Rev. Riccardo Battocchio, until now Rector of the Almo Collegio Capranica in Rome, former student in the Licentiate and Doctorate cycles in the Faculty of Theology from academic year 1987/1988 until 1990/1991 and Invited Lecturer in the same Faculty from academic year 2020/2021 to date, as Bishop of the Diocese of Vittorio Veneto (Italy).
