The tests are reserved for students duly enrolled on the second and third cycles of the Faculty of Theology at PUG.

The test you will need to sit to demonstrate language skills corresponding to level B1 consists of reading and understanding a passage written in the language of your choice.

PROVA DI LATINO

Per tutti i nuovi studenti della Facoltà, lunedì 5 ottobre, alle ore 8,15, si terrà una prova scritta di traduzione dal latino, da svolgere con l’aiuto del proprio vocabolario cartaceo (no internet).

La prova avrà la durata di due ore, dalle ore 8.30 alle ore 10.30.

Gli studenti che hanno già studiato latino – e pensano di poter essere esonerati dal corso-base (WP1009) o da entrambi i corsi (WP1009 e WP1023) di lingua latina – sono in ogni caso tenuti a partecipare alla prova. Gli studenti che non ritengono di avere una preparazione sufficiente o che non parteciperanno alla prova saranno iscritti d’ufficio al corso-base.

To all interested students:

The entrance examination for the second cycle will take place as per the calendar on

8 October 2026 – WRITTEN EXAM

from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm in ROOM C008

9 October 2026 – ORAL EXAM

from 3.00 pm

Upon enrolment in the second cycle, those who – despite having

completed the first cycle programme – do not hold a

canonical bachelor’s degree will be required to sit an entrance examination. The entrance

examination consists of two parts: a written paper and an oral examination.

The topics to be prepared are set out in the list of thesis topics, which

can be downloaded from the PUG website:

The written paper

The written paper will take place on Thursday 8 October 2026 in lecture theatre C008, from

2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. Based on the list of thesis topics downloaded from the internet, you

will be given three topics to develop within the allotted two hours. You must

bring your Gregorian University ID card, which shows your photograph and

student number.

The oral examination

The following day, Friday 9 October 2026, at 3.00 pm, you must report to

the office of the department to which you belong, to be examined by the

Head of Department on the basis of the list of theses downloaded from

the internet.

The results of the 2026–27 scholarship applications for currently enrolled students can be found in the attached PDF document, which has also been posted on the Scholarships Office noticeboard.
